What people need now in a time of crisis is timely information and a hope that doesn’t disappoint. With self-quarantine and isolation increasingly becoming a mandatory practice globally, FEBC broadcasts to the unreached and hardest-to-reach, the imprisoned and refugee, to those in cities and in despair, the only source of hope, truth and life. Given the widespread impact and its unpredictability, now more than ever, people need to hear life giving messages. True to our responsibility as ‘messengers of hope’ found only in God, FEBC uses the broadcasts first and foremost, to help listeners understand His love and compassion amidst this dire situation. Our field countries are daily producing additional content surrounding local public health messaging, while also providing vital broadcasts that speak of peace and hope at a time when so many feel vulnerable and afraid.

We are seeking urgent donations so that we can support our field countries in producing additional radio program content and broadcasts during this worldwide pandemic.

Your gift today will bring much needed hope and peace to those who need it.

Now, more than ever, remote communities need access to clean and safe water for washing and hygiene. Please support our #Waterworks2020 campaign to provide boreholes, wells, rainwater tanks, and hygiene education to impoverished communities.

For example in Pakistan, our project partner is translating into Urdu basic health information we provided about preventing infections and planning education sessions to impoverished brick kiln slaves, as well as providing soap and sanitation facilities at the 15 communities which have water tanks installed through Anglican Aid.

Please support our work. Your faithfulness in giving is now serving our brothers and sisters in ways we could not have predicted.

Calling for Partners for Peace! … At the heart of PeaceWise is a desire to build cultures of peace across families, workplaces, churches and communities in order to make Christ known and see communities built up rather than torn down.

Two key ways we do this are through our live training events and, more recently, through PeaceWiseKids - our video, online and activity-based curriculum resource to teach children of all ages to be peacemakers for life.

COVID-19 has brought significant financial pressures on our ability to pursue this work, with all of our face-to-face training, our main income stream, having to be cancelled for the foreseeable future. Because our trainings are full day, interactive and involve pair/group work and role play, we cannot easily replicate these highly immersive and transformative experiences online. Therefore, our lost revenue this year is anticipated to be in the order of $100,000. We are also facing pressure to continue funding the development of the remaining PeaceWiseKids courses - for the first year of school and for Years 11-12.

Becoming a Partner for Peace will help to sustain the work of peacemaking through this difficult time – when the relational strains people are facing are now even greater than normal.

We would greatly appreciate your prayerfully considering giving to support the work of peacemaking. Thankyou so much!

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers.” 1 Thessalonians 1:2 NIV

81 days of prayer, waiting in hope and Camp Tamborine, an 80 bed campsite once owned by the Presbyterian Church of Queensland, was secured for the future use of MTCC and associated missions represented at Mt Tamborine. As at settlement (30/11/20) a total of $584,869 had been received, leaving a shortfall of $165,131. The generous and prayer answering offer of an interest free loan from a good friend of the Convention was agreed to by the Mount Tamborine Convention Membership and allowed the purchase to proceed.

All renovations are now complete and the site is again buzzing to the sounds of people enjoying themselves.

We are in the process of repaying a short-term interest free loan of $200,000 that was given at time of settlement to secure the purchase of Camp Tamborine. This loan has been reduced to $100,000 thanks to so many faithful people responding to the call.

Please pray that support will come forward to help with the remaining shortfall, and if you are able, help this vital ministry to continue by donating at or by contacting the MTCC office on 07 5545 1419

Annual Revenue: $9.7 million

Immediate Funding Needs / Opportunities

Korus Connect is adopting creative and innovative strategies to impart a message of hope and meaning through school chaplaincy initiatives, community connector partnerships and Special Religious Instruction classes.

  • Chaplaincy roles are under threat as schools funnel their resources into online learning for students.
  • Our training of not only our own Chaplains but those from other organisations has also ground to a halt.
  • Our Community Connectors that invest in building positive community collaborations face physical barriers, due to social distancing. With this new social reality of disconnection and distancing, people’s jobs are at risk, which can have a negative cascading effect on operations and staffing.
  • We need to invest in new online technologies to provide psychosocial support and instruction to our communities including schools, retailers, community organisations (e.g. arts and sporting groups), and health and aged care communities.

Maintaining social and educational connections is paramount to ensure people maintain positive wellbeing, a sense of meaning and belonging, as well as reassurance in an uncertain time.

Our organisation welcomes prayers and donations at this time when our service to many communities is under threat. Thank you for your consideration and support.
